Nothing brilliant, sorry

It is currently the week between Christmas and New Year's. Some people are here and others took the time off. It reminded me that different departments in the theatre work on very different timeframes. While the shop is building our next show that opens in a few weeks, others in the building are planning next year's season and looking even further in the future to something like 2013. Me, I've got my finger in a few of those pies. It also makes me think where I'll be next month, next year and in 2013 and my head hurts from thinking about that.

More Pictures of the Day of Joy

The Day of Joy

The overwhelming generosity of the staff here at Seattle Rep cannot be expressed in words so I think these pictures will help.

They blindfolded us and spun us around a little to help us "choose" which boxes were ours. This basically means that when they were done spinning us, they spun us into place in front of what were now to be our boxes.

Then it became a bartering frenzy as people tried to trade away things they either disliked, were allergic to, or felt wasn't important enough to keep.
